City Museum Ostend

The city museum of Ostend contains memento in memory of the Ostend fishermen who died during the Second World War. There is also a commemorative plaque in memory of Lieutenant-Doctor de BEER Charles. He fell at Oostkerke on 12 July 1918.

The building was used as observation post by the Belgian Army in 1939-1940.
