Stumbling Stones Stadhoudersweg 149A

'A HUMAN BEING IS FORGOTTEN ONLY WHEN HIS NAME IS FORGOTTEN'
(Talmud)

Here in Rotterdam in the period from 5 to 11 November 2020, City Management Rotterdam laid two Stumbling Stones for:

HARTOG VAN RHIJN, murdered on March 31, 1944 in Poland.

AMALIA MIETJE VAN RHIJN-DE VRIES, murdered on October 6, 1944 in Auschwitz.

These memorial stones are here for war victims, deported and murdered in the Second World War.
