Atlantikwall - WN 123 M

To the east of Fort Kijkduin, in the current Grafigheidsduinen, is a double searchlight emplacement, as part of the Marine Artillerie Abteilung 808. Both emplacements are built symmetrically. The searchlight was set up on a circular platform above a specially built bunker, partly integrated in the dunes. An aggregate building was set up next to the bunker. The men were housed in an elongated feldmässige bunker. A heavy French machine gun was available for defense. The complex is now located in the dunes off the beaten track, in an area managed by Landschap Noord-Holland.
