Monument For Tankers
On September 10, 1943, Carlo Lazzerini and Bruno Baldinotti were hit by German artillery at this location. Their tanks were destroyed and they perished in the flames. At the end of the war, this memorial stone was erected by the families of both soldiers to commemorate them.
