War Memorial Niel

At the cemetery of Niel, near the entrance, there is a large war memorial, executed by Cl. Jonckheer and with the strongly weathered names of the fallen of both world wars.

Their portraits are also interred in the flowerbed at the foot of the monument. In the center is a relief, surrounded by foliage, and inscriptions "Peace" (top) and "Mindful of the population of Niel / their dead" (bottom). In addition to the central part, spacious side wings have been developed.
