Belgian War Grave Bure

The municipal cemetery contains the grave of Leon CHARLIER, World War II resistance.
He was arrested on September 19, 1941 for the sake of aid to the Allies.
On January 21, 1942 he was executed by the Germans in Schaerbeek.
In Bure a street was named after him.
