Belgian War Graves Merchtem

The cemetery in Merchtem contains the graves of military victims of the First World War.
It concerns DENEVE Kamiel Louis, Waelhem 2 October 1918; VAN DEN EEDE Jan, Gent 8 August 1918; AMERYCKX Joannes, De Panne 21 February 1916; DE WINDE Jan, De Panne 5 March 1915; MAETENS Laurent, Marche-les-Dames 22 August 1914; HERREBOSCH Theophiel, Faverges (F) 16 June 1918; KNAEPS Paul, Moorslede 10 October 1918.

There is also the gravestone of DE WINDE Juliaan (Jules) Ludovicus, who fell in Westrozebeke on 28 September 1918. His body was transferred to the Yser Tower in Diksmuide.
