War Memorial Roder

As early as 1938, there was a wooden cross in Roder with a corpus dedicated to the fallen soldiers of the First World War.
At the corner of Lärchenweg, Forstweg and Ulmenweg is a high sandstone cross that used to be on the old cemetery in Krekel and which came to Roder after the cemetery was closed. The tomb inscription on the base. Between the tomb inscription and the cross is a narrow stone slab, at the top an iron cross framed by two oak leaves and a dedication to the fallen soldiers of both world wars.
