Belgian War Graves Rochehaut

Rochehaut municipal cemetery contains three Belgian war graves from the Second World War.

POCHET Elie: born in Rochehaut on September 21, 1900.
He was a gendarmerie, he died in Tournai on May 16, 1940.

GILQUIN Jules: born in Noirefontaine on June 5, 1913
He was a soldier with the 6th Reg. Ardennes Hunters 3rd Bat 9th Comp.
Killed by an shell near the village of Gottem (Deinze) on May 26, 1940.

LEBOEUF Robert: born in Rochehaut on May 17, 1912
He was part of the 4th Lancers 1st Group 3rd Squadron.
Died in Melsele on 19 May 1940 while attempting to drive the Germans back to the Scheldt after crossing it with rafts in Antwerp.
