War Memorial Elte

In Elte, on the outside of the St. Ludgerus church, a memorial has been placed near the parking lot. it consists of an image of a crucified Jesus with the names and countries of the deceased inhabitants of the municipality in ornate letters below.

The inscriptions;

"Behold your son here."

"Defending their homeland, they died abroad during the 1914-1918 World War"

"We died for you! How do you thank us?"
