Belgian War Graves Forrières

The municipal cemetery of Forrières still contains 3 war graves from the Second World War.

BODART Emile: died for the fatherland.
On his grave is a memorial plaque:

Bodart Emile
Mort pour la patrie
1940-1945"

Founded in 1904, the Salzinnes workshop is a central workshop of the National Company of the Belgian Railways, located in Namur. They are mainly concerned with the maintenance of the rolling stock. Emile Bodart was employed there.

JACQUES Léon: died in Libramont in 1946 as a result of his imprisonment.

RENARD Léopold: died in Lübeck (Germany) on April 25, 1945 at the age of 24.
