Original Paving Fliegerhorst Venlo
In Venlo there are still a number of original strips of pavement, which the Germans had laid. This was located next to the monastery and ran through an entrance to the airport. A kind of service entrance. There are no traces of it anymore, but this road is still there.
These strips also come to the surface under the asphalt layer that you will find at Fliegerhorst Venlo. Fliegerhorst Venlo had almost 50km of paved roads. Mostly concrete and cobblestone roads.
