SUBVETS WWII National Memorial East
This memorial commemorates the submarine fleet of the U.S. Navy during World War II. The memorial consists of the preserved conning tower of USS Flasher (SS-249) and several plaques. Special attention is paid to the 52 submarines that sank during the war.
