Old Garrison Cemetery

The "Old Garrison Cemetery" at Stade was erected in 1671 for the then Swedish Garrison in the city. A total of 212 graves form different era's can be found here. Apart from known persons as Helmuth Lent, also a numbet of deceased Polish prisoners of war have been buried here.
