Crash Site De Havilland DH.98 Mosquito NF Mk XIII
Taking off from RAF Hunsdon Hertfordshire, Mosquito HK529/V was en route for a night attack on Dortmund. On December 17, 1944, the plane did not return from this mission. It was booked as missing.
The plane turned out to have crashed at this location, killing the crew.
