Stelling van Amsterdam - Sectorpark Sloten, Material Department

The Sector Park consisted of a conductor's house, an office, and a wooden storage shed near Zijkanaal F. During World War I, it served as barracks for troops. In 1919, the Mobilization Center Amsterdam likely took over the warehouse function.

From 1936 onward, four large buildings appeared, including an ammunition warehouse. Two vehicle sheds (Hoods I and II) followed in 1937, both still standing. Remnants of the fence are still visible.

The site served as a warehouse complex from before 1932 until after 1952, and from 1950 onward as an equipment warehouse.

During World War II, the German army used the shed for ammunition storage. During the Six-Day War, military equipment was shipped to Israel from here.

Today, the conductor's houses and Warehouses I and II, with their heavy metal doors, can be visited.
