Bunker PL 10-2 Lixhe
This is bunker PL 10-2 of the sector Pontisse-Lixhe in the 4th line PFL (la Position Fortifiée de Liège) of defense for the city of Liège and belongs to fort Pontisse.
Just 25 meters form PL 10-2, bunker PL 10 is located. This bunker was to guard the road. (Bunker PL 10 was to guard the river Meuse).
As shown on the map, the bunkers support eachother in defending the area.
On juist 30 meters from bunker PL 10-2 the third bunker (PL 10-3) was located to guard the Albert channel. This bunker has been demolished.
