Bunker CF 2 Chaudfontaine

This is bunker CF 2.

It is the second bunker from the sector of Chaudfontaine-Fléron from de 2nd line of defense for the city of Liège (la Position Fortifiée de Liège, PFL 2). The bunker is part of the defense for the nearby fort Chaudfontaine.

The bunker is located in a forest plot near the road. Although the bunkers is near the road, it is not visible. It had many overgrowth with ivy and shrubs.

The bunker has two gunopenings. One for a 47 mm anti-tank canon, and one for a machinegun.

The iron door is not the original one. It must have been replaced to avoid trespassing. The iron shutters were sold after the war as scrap.
