Bunker CF 1 Chaudfontaine

This is bunker CF 1.

It's the first bunker from the sector of Chaudfontaine-Fléron from de 2nd line of defense for the city of Liège (la Position Fortifiée de Liège, PFL 2). The bunker is part of the line of defense with the nearby fort Chaudfontaine. The sectorline is 4,5 km.

South of sector CF the sector of Embourg-Chaudfontaine (EC) is located. North of sector CF borders on sector of Fléron-Evegnée (FE). Also the advanced position (saillant) Magnée (Mg) with its 4 bunkers is nearby and belongs to sector Chaudfontaine-Fléron.

The bunker is located on a private plot and is used as a storage. CF 1 has two gunopenings. One for a 47 mm anti-tank canon, and one for a machinegun.
