Anti-Tank Wall L'Ancresse

When the Germans occupied Guernsey in 1940 L'Ancresse bay was identified as a possible seaborne landing site. A 925 meter concrete wall was built at high water mark along with supporting bunker complexes.
Parts of the wall are now in a very bad state of repair prompting fierce arguments about its possible repair.
One of the bunkers has recently been excavated and is now open to the public.
