Rousse Tower

Rousse Tower is a loop-holed tower and battery built in the 19th century to defend the island against threat of French invasion. In 1816 the battery consisted of 3 24 pounder and two nine pounder cannons
It has been fully restored and features displays of Napoleonic era fortifications.
