Memorial Cemetery Laforêt

The cemetery of Laforêt contains a memorial for the First World War.
It concerns a pedestal with a large stone cross on it:
"Glorious memory
to our dead soldiers
1914 – 1918".

Below that the names in 2 columns,on the left Laforêt and on the right Vresse.

CLAUDOT Victor – fell in Ougrée on 5-8-1914
PIERSON Léon – Sergeant-guard, died in Paris on 11-10-1918
CHAIDRON Alexandre – fell in Merendree on 23-10-1918

Vresse :
RENAULT Edmond – died in Gottingen (Germany) on 1-12-1918
PARPETTE André – fell on the Somme on 10-10-1916
RENAULT Henri – executed in Vresse on 24-8-1914
