Stained glass window St. Agatha Church Laforêt

In the church of Ste.Agatha there is a beautiful stained glass window on the left dedicated to the fallen of the First World War.

In the center is the image of a sitting lion next to the coat of arms of Belgium, above
"God – Fatherland" and below that "Unity is strength".

At the bottom in the middle the text:
"Tribute
Recognition
to our soldiers
died for the country"

In the 4 corners of the stained glass window are the names of the fallen:

Top left: "Edmond RENAULT – born in Vresse on 1-3-1889
Soldier 13th Line Regiment – died in the camp of Gottingen on 5-1-1919"

Top right: "Victor CLAUDOT – born in Laforêt on 1-5-1890
Soldier 9th Line Regiment - fell in Ougrée on 5-8-1914"

Bottom left: "Alexandre CHAIDRON – born in Laforêt on 9-11-1891
Soldier 13th Line Regiment - fell in Overbroecke (Hansbeecke) on 23-10-1918"

Bottom right: "Léon PIERSON – born in Laforêt on 9-12-1887
