Stumbling Stones Binnenweg 91

'A HUMAN BEING IS FORGOTTEN ONLY WHEN HIS NAME IS FORGOTTEN'
(Talmud)

Here in Heemstede two Stumbling Stones were laid on January 24, 2024 for:

JOHANNE HEDWIG VAN STRAATEN, murdered on May 12, 1945 in Theresienstadt.

MARIE MATHILDE VAN STRAATEN, murdered on January 21, 1943 in Auschwitz.

These Stumbling Stones are here for Jewish war victims, deported and murdered in the Second World War.
