At the roundabout between Evegnée and Micheroux a memorial cross to two World War II resistance members, is located.

Jean Wislet is also mentioned on the monument at the Melen cemetery.
They were killed by gunfire on September 4th, 1944.
This area was liberated by the U.S. Army around this time.
