Artwork 'The Amazons of Ede'
In the residential area on the former Simon Stevin barracks is this artwork 'The Amazons of Ede' by artist Natasja Bennink. The artwork symbolizes the power of women in and besides the resistance in the Second World War. It was unveiled by relatives of three women from the resistance on April 17, 2025 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Ede.
