Died in captivity in Korea November 26th 1951"
Born in a Crown Colony he arrived in Portugal as a teenager and was part of s saboteur group during WW2 attacking enemy property in the Estoril area. After the war he returned to England and was educated at King's School Bruton before entering Sandhurst College for officer training. He shipped out to Korea with the "Glorious Glosters" as Intelligence Officer. He was captured in action at the Battle of Imjin River and imprisoned and severely tortured. He died on November 26 1951 and was posthumously mentioned in despatches. Commemorated on the UN Wall of Remembrance, in United Nations Memorial Cemetery, Busan, Dong-gu, Busan Metropolitan City, South Korea.
