St. John's Church contains a Roll of Honour commemorating residents of the parish who gave their lives in WW1. A stained glass dedicated to Padre White who served with the 44th Battalion. In 1932 he led parishioners from the church to the summit of nearby Mount Clarence. He also instigated the first ANZAC Dawn Service. The bell ropes were donated by one of the last surviving ANZACS.
