Underground Magazine
The two-chambered concrete magazine was built in 1893 and designed to store 400 shells and a similar number of cartridges. The original storage rooms were surrounded by a lamp chamber comprised of lamp enclosures covered with thick glass protected by wire. The magazine remained in use until 1956.
