Memorial stone 50th aniversery Liberation of Neupré

This memorial stone was placed to commemorate the 50 years since the liberation day of the village of Neupré, in 1994.

It indicates that at this crossing on September 7, 1944, 2 groups of the 3rd US Armoured Division “Lovelady” met here.

One group coming from Ehein and Neuville and the other group from Nandrin, after which they would liberate the towns of Rotheu and Plaineveaux.
