Peace Tree Oostende
In 2018, a peace tree was planted on the grassy square in front of the monument and the Marine barracks.

This Peace Tree was planted in 2018 to commemorate
the end of the First World War on 11 November 2018.
Let us never forget the victims of yesterday. And let

peace, freedom and human rights.”
