Memorial Royal Hamilton Light Infantry

At Hotel De Wolfsberg in Groesbeek, a plaque was unveiled in 2023 to honor the soldiers of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry (RHLI). This Canadian unit fought in and around Groesbeek during World War II. The plaque also pays tribute to the Indigenous scouts who served alongside the RHLI.

The memorial was initiated by Janet Love-Morrison, daughter of an RHLI veteran. It stands as a symbol of courage, friendship, and the strong bond between Canada and the Netherlands.
