Maidstone Cemetery WW1 Cross of Sacrifice

"To the
honoured memory
of these sailors,
and soldiers who
gave their lives
for their country
in the Great War
1914-1918 and who
lie buried in
this cemetery
Their name liveth for evermore"

The cemetery contains the graves of 52 serviceman which are scattered through out the burial ground rather than being gathered in a plot and a Cross of Sacrifice was erected near the Chapel.
