Pütter Fountain Vilcey-sur-Trey

The spring is named after Major Pütter, a physician with the 80th Brigade-Ersatz-Bataillon.
The spring has a designated area for washing boots and clothing.
The water in the pipes was regulated by a simple sluice made of planks.
Originally, the tub was covered to prevent contamination of the water by soil, leaves, or bombardments.
