Memorial for Freedom
This monument, made of Corten steel, bears the inscription: “75 Years of Freedom”. It was unveiled on 25 October 2019 to mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Wouwse Plantage by British and Canadian forces on 25 October 1944. Next to the monument is a plaque with information about the events of those days.
