During World War II, the office buildings Rokin 113 and 115 were occupied by Luftgaukommando Holland.
Rokin 115: This narrow yet monumental building was built in 1929 as the offices of the Algemeene Friesche Levensverzekerings-Maatschappij (General Frisian Life Insurance Company), designed by architect Baanders. Despite its limited façade width, it has an imposing appearance, thanks in part to the sculptures by Hildo Krop. The hall with its columns and domed vaults received much praise. Later, the building became known as 'Station Rokin'. Since 2019, it has been occupied by the fintech company Ohpen.
