This Amsterdam-style villa was built in 1927. It was occupied by Salomon Jakob Flörsheim (1893-1979), his wife Eva Flörsheim (1892-1975), and their two sons. Salomon was a banker and co-owner of Lisser & Rosenkranz. The family, who had been in hiding on Lekstraat, were arrested and deported in 1942. The family survived the war and, after a short period in the Netherlands, permanently moved to Israel.
In the Flörsheim family's absence, the villa and its garage were confiscated and used by the German occupying forces.
