Warehouses Entrepotdok
Several warehouses in the Entrepotdok were used by the German occupying forces during World War II. The cellar of the "Purmerend" warehouse, dating from 1828-1892, was used by the Luftgaukommando Holland during World War II. Confiscated Jewish belongings were also stored here before being shipped to Germany.
