In front of the church of Chef-du-Pont stands this memorial commemorating the victims of both World Wars, the Algerian War, and one victim of the Franco-Syrian War. At the bottom of the foot is a tribute to Captain Rex Combs of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment.
