Memorial 2-1-8 R.A. Achterberg
At the entrance to the village hall in Achterberg (Rhenen), hangs a memorial to the 2nd Battery, 1st Division, 8th Artillery Regiment with the following inscription:
"Thanks to Achterberg
2-1-8 R.A.
Sept 1939-1979"
The commander of 2-1-8 R.A. was Captain Mr. E.A. Caspers.
