Memorial French-German War Kirchheim unter Teck

This memorial in the cemetery commemorates the soldiers from Kirchheim who fell during the Franco-Prussian War between 1870 and 1871. Two bronze plaques have been affixed to the base of the obelisk. One bears the names of the fallen, while the other reads:

'Zum Andenken

Gestiftet von dem Bezirks u. Ortssanitäts-Verein, der Stadt, dem Hospital
u. der Maschinen-Fabrik & Giesserei Kirchheim u. Teck'

(“In memory of the German war heroes 1870 – 1871. Donated by the regional and local medical association, the town, the hospital and the machine factory & foundry Kirchheim u. Teck”)
