Command Post 2-11 G.B.

During the May days of 1940, this villa housed the command post of the 2nd Company, 11th Border Battalion. 2-11 G.B. was tasked with defending this sector along the Maas-Waal Canal. They were also responsible for the area between the Maas-Waal Canal and the train station in Nijmegen.

On May 10, 1940, at approximately 3:30 PM, they withdrew. On May 13, 1940, they were deployed in the fighting on and around Grebbeberg in Rhenen.

The commander was Captain N. Hogerland.
