Nazi Documentation Centre Vogelsang

The visitor center of the Forum Vogelsang IP houses a permanent exhibition on the Ordensburgen, and in particular the Ordensburg Vogelsang, entitled “Destination: Herrenmensch: Nazi Ordensburgen between fascination and crime.”

In addition to the history of the Ordensburg(en) itself and the philosophy behind it, the exhibition also tells the story of the young men who were trained there to become the party elite of the future. After the outbreak of the war, they were part of the Nazi occupation, particularly in the East, and were responsible for countless crimes.

Temporary exhibitions are also regularly held. The visitor center is located in the middle of the buildings of the former Ordensburg.
