During the May days of 1940, this farmhouse housed the command post of the 1st Battalion, 19th Infantry Regiment. The command post of the Machine Gun Company of 1-19 R.I. was also located in this farm.
On May 14, 1940, at approximately 2:15 a.m., they withdrew.
The commander of 1-19 R.I. was Reserve Major B.G. Meyerman.
