Memorial Czechoslovakian Defenders Tobruk

This memorial stands on the Commonwealth war cemetery in Tobruk and is in memory of the Czechoslovakian soldiers and air men who fell in the fighting for Tobruk between 1941 and 1942. The text on the memorial reads:

"CZECHOSLOVAK FORCES EAST
TO THEIR HEROIC DEAD
DEFENDERS OF TOBRUK 1941 - 1943"
