Memorial Polish Defenders Tobruk

This memorial stands on the Commonwealth war cemetery in Tobruk and is in memory of the Polish soldiers and air men who fell in the fighting for Tobruk between 1941 and 1942. The text on the memorial reads:

"IN MEMORY OF POLISH SOLDIERS KILLED IN ACTION. THE POLISH INDEPENDENT BRIGADE GROUP."
