Memorial Lieutenant Colonel Terence Otway
This memorial is dedicated to Lieutenant Colonel Terence Otway, commander of the 9th Batallion, which temporary captured the Merville battery on 6 June 1944. The coastal battery remained in German hands until 16 August 1944.
