Remains Sint Martinuschurch Gennep

At the Torenstraat in Gennep are the remains of the Sint Martinuschurch, which was partly destroyed in World War II.

REMNANT OF THE ANCIENT SAINT MARTINUS CHURCH. IN
1944 / 1945 DESTROYED BY WAR ACTS.
THE OLDEST TRACKS OF A CHURCH BUILDING ON THIS PLACE
DATES TO THE EIGHTH CENTURY.
THE STILL EXISTING PORTAL TOWER DATES TO 1869.
