LANCE CORPORAL BRITISH ROYAL ARMY
MEDICAL CORPS, WHO NEAR THIS SPOT
ON THE 23 RD JANUARY 1945, AFTER
HEROICALLY SAVING THE LIVES OF 2
COMRADES LYING WOUNDED IN THE OPEN, WAS
KILLED IN HIS THIRD ATTEMPT. THE BRAVE
SHALL LIVE IN ETERNAL REMEMBRANCE
