Regional Museum Maaskant '44

The Regional Museum Maaskant '44 has a large collection of historical objects, mostly from the Second World War. Almost all objects are of Maaskant origin. The Maaskant is the Western Mining Region of Limburg along the borderriver Maas.

In addition to the large collection of World War II, there is a corner for the First World War and there are items that have to do with the forgotten war in the Dutch East Indies and UN peacekeeping operations after WW2.

The entire collection is gathered over a period of 30 years and is now exhibited. The collection contains about 150,000 objects.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
